How can I use music in this?
Well we know music is a good thing and if you really want, you can put up a you tube video in any of your posts for other members to listen to. Even if its a fight thread adding music is fine as long as its not nasty, offensive music.
To do it, find the video you want on you tube and take the URL. Paste that into the thread above or below your post. Next, Highlight the entire thread and look up at the row of buttons. There, press the "you tube" button and it should put a UBBC code bracket around it.
Post your reply and it should appear. If not, consult staff.
Save time describing yourself
If your getting bored and cba to describe your character over and over again, post an image of your character at the beginning of the post, but only in the first post you do. Don't do it constantly.
To add an image, get a hold of the URL of the picture. If you don't know how to do that, Right click the image and select "view image". Then take the URL there.
Paste that into your post and highlight the URL again. Click the image button in the selection above the text box and it should put [image] around it. If not, consult staff
Open and Closed Threads
When your strolling through the site, you may notice some of the threads have the words "open" or "closed" in the title. These denote two different meanings. An Open thread is one where anybody can join at any time with an unlimited number of participants. A closed thread is the opposite. Only selected people that have been invited to this thread can join. Also, these threads tend to have less people in them and contain more plot links.
If your planning to appear in a closed thread, make sure you have the permission of the ones involved. In other terms, a closed thread is similar to a Private thread.
